Campus France Service

Campus France is the official French government program managing applications from international students. It's a mandatory and rigorous prerequisite to access French universities. The process includes: creating an online application file, participating in an evaluation interview, and receiving a procedural certificate of completion.

All non-EU/EEA international students wishing to pursue principal studies in France must register on the Campus France portal. Very few exceptions exist, and nationality or previous status provides minimal exemptions. It's nearly universal for international students.

Typically 2 to 4 months from file creation to interview completion. However, we strongly recommend starting 7-9 months before your planned departure to allow time for transcriptions, language tests, and application refinements.

Essential documents: baccalaureate diploma (or certified equivalent), complete official academic transcripts, approved French test (TCF/DELF B2 minimum), detailed CV in French, personalized motivation letters, 3 months recent bank statements, and AVI (bank guarantee) attestation.

Requirements vary by university and program. Generally, TCF B2 or DELF B2 is the minimum standard. Some programs accept B1, but selective programs (Grandes Écoles, Research Masters) often require B2 or C1. We'll advise you based on your specific targets.

Typical ranges: Bachelor's level (€9,000-12,000), Master's level (€12,000-18,000), depending on regional cost of living and tuition fees. Paris region requirements are generally higher. We'll analyze your precise situation and optimize the amount without compromising acceptance.
